I’m sure everyone of us has heard of such a thing as “beauty sleep.” Well it is true! Getting enough rest and sleep is really a tried-and-tested beauty therapy. Sleeping helps the cells in our body regenerate and repair whatever damage they’ve got when we’re awake.

But how do you get the elusive beauty sleep? Here are some tips:

Keep regular hours for sleeping and waking. Stick to your schedule as much as possible. Having very irregular hours can only tire the body. If you can’t sleep as soon as your head hits the pillow, try a little conscious relaxation or meditation to calm the mind. A spoonful of honey stirred in a glass of warm (skim if you will) milk before bedtime also does the trick. Not to mention, a cool and comfy room to relax.
