REMOVING BLACKHEADS

Blackheads are tiny black pinpoints on the face, upper arms and shoulders.
The best way to deal with blackheads is to prevent them. Make sure that your skin is clean. Cleansing removes dead skin cells and excess oils which are the primary ingredients of blackhead. Women with oily skin use powder and makeup to prevent their faces from being shiny. But girls, make sure that you do not let the powder does not build up and wash your face often. Avoid creamy and greasy makeup products because it can block the pores.
When washing the face, we must avoid using the bar of soap near the sink because it contains ingredients that can clog the pores. Instead, use gentle exfoliant because they do not only remove the dead skin on the surface but the also clean the pores.
To prevent blackheads, the key is to keep your face clean.

Day to night makeup

81.jpg

Nighttime renders day makeup bland. That doesn’t mean you have to remove everything and go through the whole process of putting on color from the foundation up for a night out. Transforming day makeup to night isn’t tedious. Here’s what you do.

Eyes should be striking and more defined. The easiest way to achieve this is through eyeliner. Pencil in eyeliner on your bottom eyelid and smudge with a smudger or a Q tip. If you have liquid liner, much better. Next, carefully put on mascara, coating eyelashes and simultaneously curling them out. Then wipe off your lipstick with tissue and glide on a darker, glossy shade for your lips. Or just for contrast, nude lipstick will make your smoky eyes stand out more.

The lashes have it

What’s a beauty queen without defined, expressive eyes? Whether it’s a formal affair or a lunch date, every girl has to open up her eyes with eyelash curler. Makeup artists swear by Shu Uemera eyelash curler, though it is more expensive than other brands. For dressier events, mascara is de rigeur. And if when time for your closeup, falsies come in handy. It takes a bit of practice to put them on, so if you’re no expert, trim one end of the false eyelash to make it less tricky to glue to your lashes. Then touch them up with mascara and you’ll have long, camera-ready lashes in no time.

Woman’s best friend: concealer

concealer
fotosearch.com
Beauty experts all over the world agree that a woman’s best friend is her concealer.

A concealer hides ugly blemishes on the skin while maintaining a clean, fresh and natural look . Women of this era are particularly lucky because there are many concealer products already developed and available in the market to suit every woman’s special needs. When choosing the right kind of concealer, always pick the one right for your skin tone.

With sensitive skin, carefully purchase a brand with oil-absorbing powders and a multi-vitamin complex. It leaves your skin looking clear, smooth, beautiful and shine free.

To attain perfect foundation coverage, apply several small dots of concealer all over the face and blend out starting from the cheekbones. Apply evenly on the forehead, lightly diminishing along the jaw line to avoid creating a line around the face.

Wonder stick

Just a touch of lipstick on a woman’s lips can make a big difference. Sometimes, a woman doesn’t need any of the heavy make up stuff like eyes shadow, eyeliner, foundation, concealer and mascara to look great. The only true cosmetic she needs to brighten her face is the magic tube or stick called lipstick.

In choosing the perfect shade of lipstick, take into consideration your age and skin tone. Dark lipsticks create a mature look while lighter shades give a youthful and fresh glow.

Pick a lipstick brand that is guaranteed not to come off on glass rims, cigarette butts or on your date’s cheeks or lips. This way you don’t need to check yourself in the rest room every so often to retouch.

Check your cosmetics

There are latest findings that topical applications such as whitening creams, sun blocks and nourishing creams contain toxic chemicals. These applications are in danger of penetrating the body through skin pores. As a result, these substances are now being withdrawn from the market and cosmetic companies will be changing their formulations to do away with chemicals that are considered toxic.

Perhaps the best way to safeguard your health from harmful chemicals in cosmetics is by reading the labels of cosmetic products. You must refrain from patronizing products found to contain high levels of toxic and harmful elements.

Appropriate make up

If you want to have that fresh look for a casual date, take note of this advice:

It’s quite awkward to look too made up for a casual date especially when the sun’s still up. Nevertheless you still have to look appropriate and definitely attractive for the occasion. For a day date, go with a natural, fresh look. Blend the right amount of pretty pinks and plums into your makeup to get amazing results.

For a dinner date, don’t overdo your make up by piling on somber colors on your face. You can choose to either accentuate your eyes or lips. To highlight eyes, use any dark color – that doesn’t mean it has to be black. You may want to add a dark green and grayish shade and keep lips and cheeks almost bare.
